Sergio Canamasas has completed Caterham Racing's GP2 line-up for the coming season, alongside Ma Qing Hua.
The 24-year-old Spaniard, who drove for the team at the Jerez and Barcelona pre-season tests recently, will make his first race appearance with Caterham at Sepang next weekend.
"For me driving with Caterham Racing for a full season in GP2 this season is very exciting," Canamasas said. "My work with the team in Jerez was a good opportunity to get to know everyone and work on the car setup.
"We found a good balance, and I feel I can still get more out of the car, which is very positive. I look forward to a competitive season in GP2 with Caterham."
Canamasas drove for rival team Lazarus during the second half of last year's GP2 campaign. He took a best finish of 11th at Monza and qualified seventh at Spa. Prior to that he was a podium finisher in Formula Renault 3.5 and in the European F3 Open.
