Brazilian Adriano Buzaid will start today's first British F3 race at Hockenheim from fifth on the grid after having his best time from yesterday's first qualifying session reinstated.

The T-Sport driver was one of four drivers to have his best lap scrapped yesterday for improving his qualifying position under yellow flags.

After getting bumped down to eighth on the grid, Buzaid's team complained to race director Bernard Cottrell and successfully argued timekeepers had mistaken Buzaid's Dallara-Volkswagen for that of teammate Wayne Boyd, who also had his best lap taken away for improving under yellows.

Buzaid's reinstatement means Colombian Carlos Huertas (Double R) will now start sixth for today's first race, with F2 points leader Robert Wickens (Carlin) and category veteran Walter Grubmuller (Hitech) demoted to seventh and eighth respectively.
