Forster Motorsport continued its British Touring Car Championship winter test program at Brands Hatch this week with drivers Arthur Forster and Martin Depper. The squad, which will make its BTCC debut next season, focused on honing the setup of its ex-Mat Jackson BMW 320si as well as giving both drivers more track time in the car.
Depper, who crashed at Druids on a wet second day, said: "We decided to go for two-day tests as the early days are the most risky – we know we're going to slip up as we work out the handling points and limits of the car."
Forster had a collision of his own on Day One as he ran wide at Paddock and ended up in the tire barriers. He was still upbeat about the team's progress, though.
"It's been a great couple of days, with drivers and mechanics learning more about the car. A little later than expected, we're now starting to tune into settings we like," He said.
The team will test at Brands Hatch and Oulton Park next week.
