Bryan Herta Autosport, which announced back in November that it would be one of Lotus' partner teams for the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series, has announced another partner for its 2012 program. The team has formed a joint venture with Bowen & Bowers Motorsports, owned by David Bowen and Chris Bowers, which will focus on the squad's commercial needs. The two entities will operate as one under the Bryan Herta Autosport banner, and will field a single car for the full season.

“David and Chris are well known within the IndyCar paddock, having fostered and been involved in numerous successful sponsorship programs in the past,” noted team principal Bryan Herta (ABOVE). “We are thrilled they have agreed to join our team moving forward as they provide the stability, expertise, and client services infrastructure we need to operate as a top-tier program.”

“It is obvious Bryan and Steve Newey are fully committed to BHA's long-term success in IndyCar," said Bowers. "They have a vision, a deliberate and steady approach to achieving the vision and have met every milestone along the way. At this point in their development, adding our expertise to the mix provides another dimension to their already successful organization and further solidifies Bryan Herta Autosport as a significant force both on and off the track today and into the future.”

The team has yet to announce a driver of its No. 98 entry.
