Will Bratt is to race for Coloni in the GP2 Asia series as part of his prize for winning the Euroseries 3000 title at the weekend.
The 21-year-old Briton will test for the squad at the Yas Marina circuit later this week and then compete in the series, starting with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix support races a week later.
"GP2 is where any young driver needs to be to attract the full attention of the F1 teams and to have the chance to race in the Asia Series is one I'm going to grab with both hands", said Bratt.
"It's going to be very tough against so many experienced GP2 drivers but I thrive on challenges and can't wait for the Abu Dhabi test at the end of the week. This is the best moment of my career by far."
Bratt, who won the Euroseries 3000 crown in his first year in the series, tested for Coloni in a main series car at Jerez earlier this month, and also had a run-out with DPR last winter.
