The charity flight in which Richard Branson will serve as an air flight attendant will be delayed until April following his skiing injury.

The flight was scheduled for Feb. 21, but Branson ruptured his ACL in a skiing incident and will need some nine months to fully recover. Lotus boss Tony Fernandes confirmed on Friday a new date has been set for the event.

"His knee is buggered, so flight will be delayed from Feb. 21 to around April 11. Wish Mr. Branson a speedy recovery," Fernandes posted on his Twitter feed.
