Runaway Moto2 championship leader Stefan Bradl took his 2011 tally to six poles from seven races in a wet session at Assen.

The rain held off long enough for all the frontrunners to get at least one flying lap in, but then fell with a vengeance, leaving no chance for anyone to set any quick times in the majority of the session.

Kiefer rider Bradl had managed to put in a 1m39.305s by that time, which gave him the top spot by 0.3sec over 125cc champion Marc Marquez. Simone Corsi completed the front row, having briefly held provisional pole before Bradl assumed his usual position.

Tom Luthi, Yuki Takahashi and Aleix Espargaro were next up, with Kenan Sofuoglu, Scott Redding, Michele Pirro and Bradley Smith rounding out the top 10.
