An electrical glitch was to blame for the crash that put Jean-Christophe Boullion's Rebellion Racing Lola out of the Le Mans 24 Hours. Boullion lost control of the No. 13 car at the Ford Chicane during the 10th hour of the race.
"I had a problem with the headlights," Boullion said. "They kept switching on and off. Unfortunately they went off at an inopportune moment and I crashed.
"Even though there is some lighting there, it isn't enough when your headlights aren't working. I couldn't see where I was going, where my braking point was."
