BMW has unveiled the first of the liveries it will run during its DTM campaign this year. One of the six M3 DTMs will run in the green and blue colors of its backer Castrol EDGE, rather than the traditional BMW corporate livery of the past 20 years.
DTM champion Martin Tomczyk and long-time Mercedes driver Bruno Spengler have joined BMW for the coming season to partner long-time factory drivers Andy Priaulx, Augusto Farfus, Joey Hand and Dirk Muller, all of whom are switching over from GT racing. Three teams – Schnitzer, RBM and RMG – will field the cars.
The DTM kicks off at Hockenheim at the end of April.
