Rubens Barrichello says he is encouraged by the progress that fellow Brazilian Felipe Massa has been making, after spending the afternoon with the Ferrari driver on Wednesday.
Massa is still recovering from the fractured skull he suffered when he was hit on the head by a spring from Barrichello's car during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix.
And with the pair good friends, Barrichello made sure to visit Massa during a visit back home to Brazil.
Writing on his official Twitter feed, Barrichello said: "I spend the afternoon with Felipe...he is fine and exactly the same person as before..thank God."
Despite the speed of Massa's recovery, Barrichello thinks talk of an early return to the cockpit for him is a bit premature.
"On Felipe's come back we need to be patient...he has to be 100% before driving again," added Barrichello.
