Bamboo Engineering will expand to a two-car team for next year's British Touring Car Championship after securing a second 2008-spec Chevrolet Lacetti from RML.
The Silverstone-based squad has run a single car for Harry Vaulkhard since its creation in June, and team principal Richard Coleman believes that its expansion will help it to move up the grid.
"We're very excited to have secured this deal with RML," said Coleman.
"At the moment the Lacetti is the car to have and I'm sure that will still be the case next year. There is a very strong possibility that bamboo engineering will be the only team running the Lacetti's next year, which we hope will put us in strong position in for next season.
"We are also very pleased to continue our long standing working relationship with RML and the Chevrolet brand, who have given Bamboo Engineering their full support this season."
Bamboo also confirmed that current driver Harry Vaulkhard, who lies 14th in the championship, will be part of the lineup again next season.
Coleman added: "We still consider Harry to be one of the best up and coming drivers in the championship and a strong team mate alongside would help Harry's development as a driver."
