Bertrand BaguetteRahal Letterman Lanigan Racing will run a second car in this year's Indianapolis 500 for Bertrand Baguette. Bobby Rahal's squad had already announced that it would field Jay Howard in collaboration with Sam Schmidt Motorsports, and has now added an entry in the No. 30 for Baguette.

The 2009 Formula Renault 3.5 champion impressed in an IndyCar rookie campaign with Conquest Racing last year but was unable to put together a full-season deal for 2011.

"We anticipate an exciting month at Indy with a pair of young drivers who are hungry to make their own marks in IndyCar," said Rahal, whose IndyCar team has been confined to Indy 500 appearances in recent years. "Adding Bertrand to our lineup gives us a chance to make both entries stronger. Bertrand has shown throughout his career that he is a proven winner and he improves every time he gets into the car."

Baguette added: "This is a very good opportunity for me and it is important for me to compete in the 100th anniversary of this great race. To be there with a team of the caliber of Rahal Letterman Lanigan is very exciting. They have great people and a rich history and I know we can do great things."
