Bad weather forces Truck race postponement
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway has been postponed until Monday at 11 a.m. ET. Severe weather forced the race to be red-flagged after 52 of the scheduled 167 laps.
Given that Kansas Speedway does not have lights, race officials were forced to abandon hopes of restarting the race on Saturday. The race will resume where it left off, with Mike Skinner out front followed by Brian Ickler, Matt Crafton, Ron Hornaday and Brian Scott.
Local weather forecasts give a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms tomorrow, which could wreak havoc with the IndyCar Series race.
