Audi reasserted its authority in final practice for the Interlagos round of the World Endurance Championship.
After Toyota set the Thursday pace, Audi's Le Mans-winning e-tron produced the fastest lap of the event so far on Friday morning as Marcel Fassler lapped in 1m22.768s. The Audi Ultra was next up, while the Toyota was seven tenths off its archrival's pace.
Signatech's No. 26 ORECA-Nissan topped LMP2 with Nelson Panciatici, followed by the Starworks HPD and ADR-Delta ORECA-Nissan.
Marc Lieb's Felbermayr-Proton Porsche edged out the works Aston Martin by a scant 0.017s in GTE-Pro. Larbre's No. 50 Corvette set the GTE-Am pace.
