Honda has confirmed that Hiroshi Aoyama will replace Dani Pedrosa in the works team at this weekend's race in Assen. The Spanish rider is still recovering from his broken collarbone, an injury he suffered during the French Grand Prix. It will be the third race Pedrosa misses this season.
Aoyama, who has been racing with the Gresini team this year, will step in to the replace the Spaniard alongside Casey Stoner and Andrea Dovizioso.
HRC test rider Kousuke Akiyoshi will replace Aoyama at the Gresini team.
