Japanese driver Takayuki Aoki will make his World Touring Car Championship return at Macau next weekend in an extra Weichers-Sport BMW.
Aoki, 37, took part in the Monza, Okayama and Macau rounds last year with the same squad. His best results were a pair of 15th places in Italy and Macau. He will partner team regular Stefano D'Aste.
Fellow BMW independent squad Engstler is also fielding an expanded lineup in Macau, with Jo Merszei and Liu Lic Ka joining up with Henry Ho, who partnered regulars Franz Engstler and Kristian Poulsen in Japan.
Macau regular Lei Kit Meng has also confirmed his entry for the season finale. He will drive a BMW 320si, to be run in conjunction between RPM Motorsport Macau and China Dragon Racing.
