Round 9 California Scents polesitter Scott Anderson claimed his fourth win today at Road Atlanta. The 22-year-old currently leads the points in the BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National presented by Mazda. Despite a last lap, final turn attempt to pass for the win, Brandon Newey finished in second just 0.081sec behind Anderson, earning his seventh podium of the season. Sebastian Ordonez started second and finished third and will also be leading the field to green in tomorrow morning's race, Round 10.
MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development driver Trent Hindman finished fourth, taking home his ninth top-five finish of the season. Fellow MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development driver Danilo Estrela was not as fortunate, suffering from contact in the second-to-last lap.
