NAPLES, Fla. (May 20, 2004) - The American V8 Stock Car Road Racing Series is proud to announce the
first "no fee" organized racing group, presented by Lee Arnold (the Driving Force) with
technical advisors Gene Felton and John Morgan. The new series features the "Grand National SPO Class” and “Late Model GT1 classes."

The American V8 Stock Car Road Racing Series offers racing throughout the Southeast from Florida to Virginia. DRP Performance Products Challenge held the series’ first race May 9th at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), which was won by Scott Murphy. American V8 will wind up our SARRC, (South Atlantic Road Racing Champions) Invitational Challenge "Championship" points race on October 9-11, 2004 in Savannah, Georgia.

Goodyear and Sunoco are the official racing tire and fuel suppliers. Many other sponsors are on board for prizes throughout the series, along with DRP Performance Products (888-399-6074).
