Two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso will drive his Renault Formula 1 car at the Bavaria City Racing even in Rotterdam.

On August 19, the Spaniard will will take his grand prix car across the Willemsbrug bridge, Coolsingel street and Hofplein in the fifth edition of the event.

"My teammate Nelsinho Piquet, who drove twice in Rotterdam, told me some great stories about the event and the enthusiastic audience," said Alonso. "I hope to entertain all the fans along the track with an impressive demonstration."

Herman Vaanholt, of the Bavaria City Racing organization, added: "Fernando is one of just three still driving world champions in Formula 1. So it is fantastic and unique that such race hero is part of the program in our anniversary year."
