After Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca announced on Thursday that its 2013 American Le Mans Series race was shifting from May 18 to the previous Saturday, May 11, the series has now confirmed the shift. It also went a step further, announcing that the event, previously announced as a six-hour enduro, will now run to four hours.

The American Le Mans Series Monterey presented by Patrón at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, which has been a fixture on the ALMS schedule for each of the series' 14 seasons, is a four-hour enduro run over the track's 2.238-mile, 11-turn circuit.
