Nasser Al-Attiyah will make his debut in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge in Argentina next month. The 39-year-old Qatari, who ran Carlos Sainz close for victory in last month's Dakar Rally, will drive a Skoda Fabia S2000 for the Belgian Rene Georges Rally Sport team.
Al-Attiyah also won the Group N class of the WRC in Argentina last year, on one of his six WRC outings during the season. He also won the Qatar International Rally in an M-Sport Ford Fiesta S2000 last month.
He is due to contest more rounds of the IRC after Argentina, but his program is still to be confirmed.
