The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Championship event will return to Mid Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio in 2011. NASA will operate the next two championship events at Mid Ohio before selecting a West Coast venue to host the event for the following two years.
“Our first National Championship event happened at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course so in a way, it feels as if we are going back home. The NASA membership loves this facility the local hospitality is second to none”, commented National Chairman Ryan Flaherty. “We are excited to host our sixth annual Championship event and expect to see the best racers in the country compete for the most comprehensive contingency offered to amateur racers anywhere.”
The 2011 NASA Championships at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course is scheduled for Sept. 8-11, 2011.
